A patrol car at the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office has a new paint job. It is for a good cause, although it may not scare criminals.
The patrol car has been painted pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. It will patrol different areas and raise Breast Cancer Awareness
The Sheriff, Mike Hale, said “We love our football here in the south, especially in Alabama. If the NFL can wear pink on their uniforms, then certainly we can do our part to bring attention to this terrible disease.”
Apparently deputies are fighting over who gets to drive the pink car.
Jefferson County isn’t far from Montgomery, where I live. Maybe we would talk MPD into getting pink cars for the month of October?
