Deandra Marquis Lee turned himself in on Tuesday evening and is being held on $3 million bond for the shooting deaths of 9-year-old twins and their 73-year-old babysitter. Lee’s attorney says he will not enter a plea until the case is heard by a grand jury, which may be early next year. A hearing is set for June 19th regarding a $10,000 bond on an earlier charge be dropped.
The Dejerinett twins were laid to rest on Monday afternoon. Family, friends, school and city officials, and even strangers paid their respects. The family is asking for support from the community to make it through this difficult time.
